US Triestina submitted an expression of interest to the Municipality of Muggia for the creation and management of a new sports center through the Public-Private Partnership instrument regulated by Legislative Decree 38/2021 as amended. The Municipality of Muggia responded positively to the proposal, committing to initiate the administrative process. Today marks the official presentation of the news.

The new sports center will also benefit the community, with the enhancement of public spaces and the creation of new gathering areas: a true "Urban Sport District" for sporting and social initiatives.

Mayor Paolo Polidori: "It's a regional reference sports center, with potentially enormous benefits for the territory, not just Muggia, and for the first time in its history, a home for Triestina, which will finally have the opportunity to manage their own fields and significantly strengthen the Youth Sector. Now the administrative process begins, which will see the formal proposal of the partnership by US Triestina and the consequent initiation of the administrative procedure under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Muggia. It is my intention to conclude this in the coming months".

Triestina CEO, Sebastiano Stella: "This agreement is the result of a collaborative dialogue developed over time with the Municipality of Muggia. The creation of the sports center has always been one of the most important goals for the club's development. Today marks the first step towards the realization of a project that Triestina has never had in its centenary history. Today begins an important journey, with the aim of giving further solidity to the club's goals while also providing an important contribution to the enhancement of the territory for the benefit of not only the local community".
